Is this the right permit for you?
Yes, if your California registration fees are current, or a Planned Non-Operation (PNO) is on file. It's perfect for:
Driving to a smog check or repair shop while you wait on a passing smog certification
Getting your vehicle out of an impound or tow yard (registration fees must be current)
Moving a vehicle with PNO status to relocate it or re-register it
Driving a vehicle out of an auction yard
Getting to a DMV inspection
Fees not paid, or don't want to pay them? Our One Trip Automobile Permit lets you move the vehicle without paying California registration fees.

Easy to verify. Anyone can check your permit at ezpaydmv.com/vdp with the VIN and the issue date printed on the permit.
