EZPayDMV’s standard service fee for registration renewals is $40. This is the EZPayDMV service fee and does not include separate DMV fees, state taxes, penalties, shipping, or any other applicable charges.
EZPayDMV’s standard service fee for title transfers is $60. This includes common title transfer services such as change of ownership, salvage title transfers, revived junk title transfers, lien sale title transfers, non-California title transfers, and move-to-California vehicle registration. Dealer, fleet, or bulk pricing may be different.
No. EZPayDMV’s service fees are separate from any DMV fees, penalties, state taxes, or other government-required charges. Your final total may include both EZPayDMV’s service fee, credit card/installment plan related fees and any DMV-related fees required to complete your transaction.
They may be. EZPayDMV notes that online order fees may be different, so the final cost can vary depending on how the service is requested and processed. All fees are disclosed before payment and processing. Shipping fees are one example of fees that may be included in our online prices that are not charged in our in-office prices.

Yes. EZPayDMV offers payment plan options through Affirm and Afterpay for eligible customers. Availability and approval are handled by Affirm or Afterpay and may depend on the transaction amount, customer eligibility, and the terms shown at checkout. You will be able to review your available payment options and total amount due before completing payment. For payment plans, EZPayDMV charges a transaction fee of 7%.
How does Affirm work?
Affirm allows eligible customers to split their payment into installments. Depending on the purchase and customer eligibility, Affirm may offer Pay in 4 at 0% APR or longer monthly payment plans with rates from 0% to 36% APR. Affirm does not charge hidden fees or compounding interest, and the payment terms are shown before checkout is completed.
What is the maximum amount I can finance with Affirm?
Affirm may finance eligible purchases up to $20,000, with a standard maximum purchase limit of $30,000. If a purchase is approved above the financed amount, Affirm may require the customer to pay the difference as a down payment. Approval is not guaranteed.
How does Afterpay work?
Afterpay Pay in 4 lets eligible customers split a purchase into four payments, with the first payment due upfront and the remaining payments typically due every two weeks. Pay in 4 is interest-free when paid on time for eligible purchases at partner merchants. Afterpay may also offer Pay Monthly for larger eligible purchases.
How much does Afterpay charge?
Afterpay Pay in 4 is free when paid on time for eligible purchases. If a payment is missed, Afterpay may charge U.S. customers up to an $8 late fee per missed installment, with total late fees capped at 25% of the order value. Some Afterpay transactions or Pay Monthly plans may include interest or finance charges, which are shown before checkout is completed.
What is the maximum amount I can finance with Afterpay?
Afterpay Pay in 4 limits vary by customer and transaction. Afterpay determines each customer’s available spending amount based on factors such as payment history, account status, order amount, and merchant limits. For Afterpay Pay Monthly, eligible purchases may range from $100 to $20,000, depending on the merchant and customer approval.
Are payment plans guaranteed?
No. Affirm and Afterpay are third-party payment providers, and approval is not guaranteed. Each provider decides eligibility, spending limits, down payment requirements, APR, fees, and available repayment terms at checkout.
